Plant Sale Pack Descriptions

This is a list of our tomato four packs and details on each tomato. 

Before we begin here's some things to keep in mind: 

1. Our frost free date is May 15 so best not to plant tomatoes outside before that day

2. Many heirloom tomatoes are Indeterminate which means they keep growing and growing taller and taller. So we recommend some support for all tomatoes

3. Always best to water at the base...watering from above encourages disease

4 Pack Mix #1

This mix has 1 heirloom, 1 standard red, 1 sauce tomato, and an adorable pink cherry tomato

Dixie Gold Giant

• bright yellow large heirloom tomato

Ramapo

• Ramapo tomato was developed at Rutgers. Ramapo became a home gardeners favorite due to its rich flavor and fruit quality.  

San Marzano

• a delicious and high quality sauce tomato

Fruit Punch

• cute cherry tomato that bears pink juicy fruit

4 Pack Mix #2

This mix is all full sized heirloom tomatoes

Black Beauty

• the darkest skin of any tomato out there with bright red flesh

Black Krim

• usually thought of as one of the best heirloom tomatoes, dark red/purple skin

Brandywine

• a classic heirloom tomato that has a delightful rich flavor, pink/reddish

Chocolate Stripe

• dark brownish tomato with green and red striping

4 Pack Mix #3

This mix is all full sized tomatoes

• Ramapo tomato was developed at Rutgers. Ramapo became a home gardeners favorite due to its rich flavor and fruit quality.

• the cutest little fuzzy (yes fuzzy) tomato hence the name garden peach it has great flavor to go with it's cute size and appealing yellow-y pinkish color

• yes, they are really pear shaped and yellow too

Pink Bumble

• pink with slight striping on the skin

• on of the tastiest of the little tomatoes. They are small, sweet, and a pleasing deep orange color.
