When were tractors first used in farming?
1868 and they were powered by steam.
Interesting, Mr. Ford didn't get on the tractor band wagon until 1907 and called his tractors the "automobile plow."
John Deere, who is probably the most widely known tractor company today didn't get into manufacturing tractors until 1918.
