Pelleted seeds are a wonderful thing. A helpful thing. A thing that makes my time in the greenhouse more zen and less...oh gosh what row was I seeding in, in this tray because I just got lost in a moment of singing a Justin Bieber song?

True Story.

Pelleted seeds are coated in an inert material that makes them a uniform size and shape....for gloriously easy, fast, and precise seeding.

Some seeds are so small that hand seeding is almost impossible...and even precision with a seeding machine can be questionable (depends a little on the caliber of your seeder).  Especially for any direct seeding in the field pelleted seeds....in seeds which are available that way are very helpful to avoid over crowding and waste.

In a home gardening situation where you're probably doing everything by hand these are a great option.  Save your eyes and your sanity!
